I pop two xylimelts into my mouth at night before putting on my cpap mask. They have really helped alleviate the chronic dry mouth I have been suffering for decades which has been exacerbated by the air from the cpap. My mouth feels so much more comfortable. Plus, I got great feedback from my dentist at my recent check up who told me that my mouth and gums were in good health and that I didn't require any work, which was a relief. It has been a life changer and I am really happy with them. A a pensioner I find them a bit pricey and regret that they arent available on the NHS. The relief they bring is invaluable however so I will keep on with them as long as I can afford to

After receiving radio chemotherapy which successfully cured my throat cancer i was left with a severe lack of saliva. This meant I was waking every two hours at night with a severely dry mouth as well as suffering difficulty in eating. My GP / oncology dept tried prescribing many medicines some of which helped but none solved my problems. After about 3 months I then discovered Xylimelts which have enabled me to sleep through the night as ell as keeping my mouth moist throughout the day. I have stashes of Xylimelts everywhere (car, golf bag etc.) in case I forget to pack some before going out. I rely on them so much. It is frustrating that I can't get them on prescription and that my GP /oncology was not allowed to recommend them although they knew of other patients they had helped.
